Distribution Pattern and Phytosociological study of Trees Associated with Agroforestry in Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir, India

The focus of present study was to find the phytosociology, distribution pattern, and diversity different species trees associated with traditional agroforestry in district Poonch, Jammu Kashmir, India. Data collected through quadrat survey method. A total fifty quadrats size (10x10m) each were thrown randomly agriculture fields. Total 26 tree belonging 16 families 21 genera encountered agricultural fields Grewia optiva, Pyrus persica Celtis australis being dominance. most dense recorded optiva a density value 3.88 tree/ha which followed by 3.74 tree/ha. Buxus wallichiana least (0.82 tree/ha). revealed that area has vast potential sites for plantation various related solve problems fuel, fodder timber.
